Marrakech or "Red City" is a truly magical place, full of markets, gardens, palaces and mosques. Spend an entire day to explore the secluded courtyards and winding streets of the historic medina. However, the best way to experience the medina is to wander onto the fortified walls - you can do it on foot or by bike. Look for the inner peace of the lovely gardens Mazorel or admire the beauty of one of the historical mosques in the city (note that you can enter them only if you are Muslim).
